Enhance Your Cycling Performance with FTP Testing

Understanding FTP Testing

Functional Threshold Power (FTP) testing is a crucial assessment for cyclists aiming to improve their performance. FTP is the highest average power you can sustain for an hour and serves as a benchmark for your training. Knowing your FTP allows you to tailor your workouts, optimize your training zones, and track your progress effectively.

Why FTP Testing is Essential

  • Accurate Performance Benchmark: Determine your current cycling fitness level.
  • Personalized Training Plans: Develop effective training programs based on your FTP.
  • Optimize Training Zones: Identify specific training zones using TrainingPeaks iLevels for targeted improvements.
  • Track Progress: Monitor your performance and make data-driven adjustments to your training.
